The Gretzky Hockey School was founded by Ty Gretzky and his famous Hall of Fame father, #99, Wayne Gretzky in 2014. What started as a single week school in Coeur d’Alene, ID, now stretches across 12 different cities across North America.
In 2017, the school contacted RG Event Surfaces looking for a modular floor solution that was safe, could be installed and dismantled quickly, while also being easy to transport to and from the events throughout the year. The purpose of the floor was for students to work on stick and shooting skills as well as playing pick-up games during the event. For the past 5 years, the Gretzky Hockey School utilizes 1,500 square feet of the VersaCourt Speed Outdoor tile which is installed in a parking lot during the event.
